The Brand
Grace & Grit Boutique is a casual wear boutique that provides durable and comfortable pieces to wear anywhere anytime.
It targets women of 34-44 years of age. It serves over 10,000 customers across the United States and has an offline store.
The Challenge
The founder Holly Fenoglio approached us very early in the brand’s journey, towards the end of October 2021. It had around 250 subscribers and was planning to launch an offline store.
For that, the list of customers and their contact data from its boutique POSs had to be merged into Shopify’s online dashboard.
The brand wished to start sending regular email campaigns to its subscribers. It wanted expert support for creating high-converting and on-brand emails.
The Solution
Our team at ReatinUp started by merging the customer data from offline POSs into the brand’s Shopify account. We created on-brand automations and campaigns for the subscribers, and strategized pop-ups to grow the list.
Store Launch
The launch of Grace & Grit Boutique’s new offline store was hyped up via zip-code-based email campaigns. The copy and designs created anticipation for the event among the viewers.
Automations & Pop-Ups
We created 14 customer journey automations for the brand. These covered all pre and post-purchase touchpoints. We also strategized email series for price drops and restocking of the items browsed by the buyer.
For list growth, we created welcome and exit intent website pop-ups. We drove traffic to major promotions like the 4th Of July, BFCM, Valentine’s Day, etc. through themed pop-ups.
Email & SMS Campaigns
We provided end-to-end support for the brand’s campaigns – from planning the monthly calendar to building the email in Klaviyo. The copy and design appealed to the target group of women to snag their desired apparel immediately.
All the major deals from the brand were promoted through SMS campaigns. These had an urgent and concise messaging.
The Results
In a year, we increased the list size to 10,000+ with an aggressive pop-up strategy. We set up 10+ automations for them and run regular campaigns.
The RetainUp team strategized regular campaigns and automations. This was able to increase the boutique’s email revenue by 41%. We helped them significantly lower their acquisition cost to get positive ROI from paid marketing.
In just 30 days, we generated $7,853 from Klaviyo, which was 51% of the brand’s total revenue for that month. 76% of it was from email automations.
